UPDATE: While this item did not live up to my expectations, the company/Anmbest did a great job of working with me to find a solution . Their customer service is amazing and they were very responsive. They offered to send me their updated version of this product to see if it got any better. And I can say that there is a huge improvement and basically solves all my problems with this particular item. Therefore, I strongly recommend the new version, which can be found by searching for "B07KSSV8LD" (ASIN). This is their part number MD101 but I don't think it's actually listed as such. But if you need something similar, get the updated version and you won't be disappointed. --- ORIGINAL: I was looking forward to using them. They appear to be relatively well made apart from one technical error. I spent 5 minutes fitting the cap to see how it would fit and not once was able to successfully fit the cap onto the post. Tried multiple plugs and multiple plugs. Technically, the pen has a flat cutout on one side (if you look closely at the picture, you can see it's not quite round). I also found that the spacing between the threads was very tight, so there isn't much tolerance at all to thread properly. But the recess makes it extremely difficult to align the cap so that it can be properly screwed onto the post. I imagine the same could be said for the washer/nut that secures the connector to the housing you're mounting it to. Unfortunately, without a cover, a "waterproof" connector will result in open ports, which means this is not the case. waterproof longer. Therefore I cannot use these items and will be returning them.
