All felt bags were NOT the same color.
I ordered 6 packs of precut green wool felt. I have used 3 packs so far and one pack is darker, more turquoise green than the other two. Luckily I was able to match the same rails using the same color charts. When restoring my splints, I simply tore off a few pieces of felt by stretching the fabric. I'm just masking the assumption that the slate felt won't last as long as I expected. Be tired when you buy wholesale felt at discount prices.
