While this combo is certainly "cute," it's far from quiet. My mouse click annoys me to death. However, the keyboard doesn't bother me since I don't actually type much. But now I could use it when I needed to be silent. Think '90s keyboard sound and you'll get it. They both fall asleep at odd times, which sucks when you're not typing a lot, and when you do your keyboard is dark. That's why I took it in the first place. Not bad but not great and no. silent update: after a little over a month, the mouse stopped working, the light is on and sometimes moves, but for the most part it doesn't work.
