Review on Swissvoice ePure - DECT 6.0 Cordless Home Telephone in Black Design by Lisa Chavez

I have 5 of these phones and I LOVE them! I bought them because they look so good but I'm still amazed at how incredible the quality of these phones is. Note. I have owned and used my first ePure phone for over four years in my Caribbean apartment outdoors, with no air conditioning and high humidity, and we regularly deal with power outages that can kill electronics. Thing is, my home and usage really puts these phones to the test and they're awesome. The phone's features are excellent - excellent range, sound quality, durability and battery life. The best cordless phone I've ever had. YES: EXPANDABLE. I have paired 4 devices to work from one "base" unit, 5 phones in total. The 4 expansion kits plug into an electrical outlet and "pair" to an assigned base station, which is the only phone connected to the phone line. Any phone can be configured to function as a base station or extension - this configuration does not depend on the phone itself but on how you program it. YES: REPLACEMENT BATTERIES ARE EASY TO BUY. between the chin and ear for impromptu hands-free calls, but the phone also has a high-quality hands-free function for longer hands-free needs - e.g. B. if you are on hold for a long time. MANY LARGE SOUND CHOICES AND ADJUSTABLE RINGER VOLUME INCLUDING MUTE. My preferred choice of ringer volume is "progressive", which starts at a low volume and gets louder as the phone continues to ring. GREAT ALARM FUNCTION - so easy to set and adjust alarm time/sound/volume. I use this phone as an alarm clock all the time. The alarm clock only rings on the handset on which you set the alarm clock. This means that with my 5 devices of this phone I can set different alarms on each of my different phones. I've only had 2 minor issues since using these phones four years ago: 1) My battery died but I just bought a new battery and everything is back to normal. 2) Instructions to "bind" additional phones to the base cannot be followed. My "technical skills" are good, but I'm still having an almost impossible time with instructions on how to pair additional sets. I recently swapped one of my white models for a red one, so the very difficult pairing issue is fresh in my mind. This is a simple 3 step programming function, the problem is not with the setup or operation of the phone but with the wrong instructions. Perhaps a problem with the translation into English? I have been able to pair many times for my numerous expansion kits but only after many failed attempts. So if you want to expand to multiple phones (expandable to 5 paired devices), I can tell you that additional paired phones work great, but be prepared for some frustration with the actual pairing process. It's easy to do, but be prepared for a lot of trial and error as following the instructions to complete this single task didn't work for me. ANSWER: THEY MAKE A MODEL WITH A BUILT-IN DIGITAL ANSWER. I have one of their built-in answering machine models as my "base unit" with 4 sets of non-answering machines around the house connected to it. I recommend the built-in answering machine model as well as the phone-only model. BONUS: Sparky the lizard that lives in my bathroom LOVES this phone (see quality phone/phone system because it's so beautiful and you might not expect it to be a quality workhorse too. I won't say much about this being the most beautiful cordless phone i have ever seen because i don't want to lose sight of the value of performance and functionality the phone is so beautiful that i want to be seen walking into the room I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this phone for its high quality !(My photos: white phone in my bathroom, Sparky makes a house out of a white phone in the bathroom, the red version of this phone is on the wall shelf in my kitchen, another white phone is in my bedroom)
