I had to drill one of the mounting holes in the front bracket into a slot, but otherwise the installation was pretty easy. It's hard to get your hand in the box and hold the nuts and wrench, but it was doable. I ended up losing my keys (a hole in my pocket) in the first week. The drill opened it up in about 10 seconds. This only helps honest people maintain honesty and of course the lock ensures your stuff stays inside. I was able to fit 2 smaller tool rolls there (the larger one was too big) and a MotoPump. This is enough for most problems that may arise along the way. It also frees up space in the baskets for camping and travel items.
