About 10 years ago I had bamboo sheets and they took hours to dry so I was nervous about trying this set. I finally ordered because the quantity and quality of the reviews were hard to miss. The reviews are correct. These sheets are wonderful. The material is very soft and almost shines like silk. If these sheets were a dress, the fabric would hug your curves and the weight would make them fall in all the right places. They were delivered very quickly and there was no plastic or chemical smell on arrival which was a nice surprise given the number of beds. They buy online these days. I washed the sheets right out of the box, but my washing machine was brand new and there was some grease left on the sheets. I was so worried that these black stains would leave an indelible mark on my brand new white sheets, but after a spot treatment and another wash the stains were gone and it was so beautiful. They also only took one cycle to fully dry (this was the case with a lot of other bedding, so I was very happy). When making the bed, the sheet has a very thick elastic band, thanks to which the sheets fit snugly and snugly. I put the sheets on immediately after drying after each wash and while there are some wrinkles, they are not very noticeable when you go to bed. I will note that on the second wash I left the pillowcases in the basket for several hours and they are not wrinkled so I would recommend just washing and using immediately if possible. They recommend line drying the set, but March in Vermont really doesn't bode well for drying wet stuff outside... The sheets are really soft for sleeping without the pilling that jersey cotton has or the suffocating one Warmth that flannel provides. I'm an active sleeper and felt like I could move very freely even with three extra blankets on top. They also don't get static or sticky as they move around or exit the dryer. The sheets also keep you cool and feel surprisingly breathable considering the weight. The pillowcases are silky and have an inner flap that keeps the pillow in place. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience and will be ordering another set for other bedrooms.
