Im impressed with this little device. There is a small switch on the bottom that turns it on or off depending on whether the cup is being crushed. This is a new approach that works great. An empty ceramic coffee mug isn't enough to get it started, but once it has about 1/5 cup of liquid it will work. Well done. You can always move the mug closer to the front or back for fine tuning when powering on. The area is sufficient. Aside from that, it actually brews and keeps the coffee hot while only using 16W of power. All around the perfect desk coffee warmer.
