Perfect for cat food!

Potential buyers should beware of BROKEN GLASS when unboxing these bowls if they decide to order them. They were well wrapped with strips of clear elastic material when stacked on top of each other. Then it was additionally padded with transparent thin foam so that the stack did not move after being placed in a sales box. If the light hadn't been spot on - thanks to my lamps under the cabinet - I would never have noticed the shard of clear glass that fell onto my countertop when unpacking as the bowls themselves were perfect. Nevertheless, I bought these bowls. for my 18 year old cat's food as I am currently using clear glass dessert plates which I bought a long time ago for both his wet and dry food but none have been found that even match. Some of the raised white bowls I switched to a while ago are too tall and flat to keep his wet food from drying out. So I put a product like Blu-Tack in the middle and then squeeze the little shells so they don't move when he eats. Since he doesn't really like to eat, these cooking bowls are perfect and I can also use them to cook and cool. his meal the night before so I can tend to my own needs in the morning. The smallest clear silicone bowl lids are just right for covering before they cool, and 18 seconds at half power in my 1200-watt microwave warms up his wet food nicely. So if the need arises again, I won't hesitate to buy more.
