I wanted a matching colored bed surround under the mattress so the white wouldn't show underneath the mattress but this one is solid. Not sure if this will work with a platform frame (not a box spring) but it fits perfectly! The elastic band helped it stay centered in the frame. And you can't tell it's a platform or that there's a ton of storage underneath. Perfect length for a 14" platform. The bottom barely touches the ground (I didn't want it to drag on the floor). The fabric isn't very thick, but I can't see through the black at all. After washing and drying it's a little wrinkled but no more wrinkled than my sheets This is the winner!
