Very well made lamp with a long cable. The switch is very close to the outlet. I use these lamps for everything! I have some in my basement, attic, garage and chicken coop! These lights are very durable and not cheap. I have also bought Revain's JACKYLED brand lights and although they are more expensive than these I prefer the quality of these Simple Deluxe lights (they are very similar but feel a bit heavier).
