Wow! I just installed this seat cover so can't comment on durability yet. But I think it's a long time. It arrived well packaged and appears to be of excellent quality. It's not flimsy at all and really has a substantial feel to it. I was expecting something harder and was pleasantly surprised. This is important to me because I don't have any dogs, nor do I intend to use it on dogs at any point in time. I bought it to protect my back seat from my kids and all their inevitable clutter. My last eyelid barely held, was thin and already torn after about 6 months of use. When I took it off I found it did little to protect my seats. There was a lot of stuff to vacuum up and finding spills after sitting for so long was a headache. I don't think I'll have that many problems with this cover. It's thick and the coverage is amazing. The areas where the seat belt clips insert are large enough to use, but I like that the velcro closes in those places too. Full coverage of the underside of the rear seats and seat sides is also a major bonus. Everything is well hidden and looks pretty slick. Just in case someone else gets this to protect CHILDREN. I have car seats and was able to use LATCH to put the seats back onto the back seat without interfering with the upholstery or exposing any part of the seat. This was my main concern and I would have had to return if I could not safely install the child seats.
