I'm cheap. This hat is more expensive than I would normally pay for a baseball style hat, but a friend recommended it to me. The material is very light and breathable. The strap is easily adjustable. We still have a pandemic and I need to get my hair cut. Since my head is sweating from the game, I realize I need to tighten the straps. This is a velcro strap and it's a new type of velcro with very small hooks (see picture). They're smooth to the touch and there's more to them than old-fashioned Velcro. I can easily adjust the fit without taking my hat off in about a second. I wish the price was a little lower, but I'm used to either getting the hats for free or buying them on sale for $5. It would be nice if they offered different colors in the cap. White would probably hide my sweat better. For what it's worth, there's a reflective strip around the outer edge of the visor. The underside of the visor/beak is dark. I've worn the hat in the sun and it helps with the glare. Pros: light weight, feels durable and we did, beautiful appearance (compliments made me), breathable, reduces sun glare, white color hides sweat, very easy to adjust Cons: .price? The price was the reason for 4 stars and not 5. As beautiful as this hat is I find it hard to justify almost $30 for a hat. Did I mention I'm cheap?
