I bought this clock to work in the garden in the middle of the day without destroying my phone in the sun. I also wanted something to remind me when to stop by to feed the dogs lunch. My husband set it up for me (not the best guide) and we tried it out on a rainy day. The alarm went off but it was so quiet I could barely hear it even in a quiet room with no distractions! I literally had to put the watch to my ear to hear it. The next day in the garden the time came and went, I don't know if the alarm clock works or not because I didn't hear it. It's fine for time tracking in situations where you don't want your expensive phone flying around, but if you want an alarm you can actually hear, don't.
