These boots are lightweight and easy to slip on and off. They are perfect for slipping into to take the dogs out. Which is exactly what I got them for. I have not worn them in deep snow and don’t intend to because they only cover your foot and ankle. My feet have remained dry in the cold and wet yard. They do run a little big, I bought a 1/2 size larger than my usual shoe size and can wear them with regular or extra thick socks. If they were any smaller they would be uncomfortable with a thick sock.
