I first bought the first six of these sets to keep three different sized battle ropes organized on the wall when not in use at the gym. The strength of each seemed to accommodate a rope, but for aesthetics and ease of use I used two ropes per rope. The support arms are much better than I expected. A 9 inch gap can only fit quite a bit, so I ordered a second pack of six to support heavy rectangular planters against a concrete side retaining wall. The width fits easily in a planter and makes a very attractive combination with long black planters with a cascade of herbs. For this challenge I upgraded the included screws to Tapcon 3/16 x 2 1/4 for concrete, but otherwise no change . They are very good quality, the foam protector is a good size and feels sturdy. Each arm is beautifully finished in black and the hardware they come with is perfect to get using them right out of the box.
