Lamps and app work perfectly, installation is easy but tedious. I use this in outdoor brass landscape lights. For example, you have to plug and unplug them three times for them to blink and register, and then use the app to manually register each bulb. It's not difficult, just boring and repetitive (I have to do 20). Shortly after rotating the light's brass cover, I found that the Wi-Fi was lost and only Bluetooth worked when I was nearby. Remove the cover and Wi-Fi is back. I thought 2.4GHz would be ideal because it has a longer range than 5GHz. Metal absorbs the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal significantly according to some research. Since the body of my light is made of brass, I doubt I'll be able to fully control these bulbs from home using Alexa or an app, which is pretty unfortunate for the price. But I can still change the colors for different holidays, and the brightness levels adjust individually via Bluetooth. I suspect the Wi-Fi issue will not be present for indoor applications with good Wi-Fi network coverage.
