Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Gamecube Controller, Classic Wired Controller for Nintendo Wii and Gamecube (Blue & Red-2Pack) by Jaymai Alford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

First Impression: Great but Reliable

For those interested, the difference between the original GameCube controllers and these isn't that subtle; controller, not below. โ€ข Lighter than the original, but not by much, and you have to hold both to really notice it. โ€ข The wire is about 1/2 mm thinner. The wire is also a different plastic (it sticks a little tighter when you run your finger across it. If you compare the two side by side you can see the original is matte). โ€ข Click buttons. A, B, Y, X, Z, and D-Pad have a clicky feel, while L, R, and START don't (unlike the originals). The L and R sound is more like a grinding noise, but all keys are pressed normally and there are no problems with inputs. โ€ข The C Stick and Analog Stick are exactly the same as the original, so this is a gold star. โ€ข Screws require a Phillips screwdriver. unlike the original which requires a Y-tip screwdriver. โ€ข The ends of the connectors are completely black compared to the originals which are painted the same color as the controller body. So if you get four of these, make sure you know which slot you're connected to. All in all, you get what you pay for and more. not that deep shades, but they're certainly bright), but it really doesn't matter in the long run. It's still a good product for the price and if you don't experience any lags compared to the above then they're fine for normal gaming with an adapter or with the original GC.
