I was dying to hate this mannequin due to all the negative reviews. I didn't want to like it. I fully expected it to be a disaster. But. It's not like this. This is an amazing AMAZING product for anyone looking to learn, practice or manipulate. Wow. That price has led to failure. NOT RIGHT. The hair is very thick. VERY FAT. The smell is unpleasant when I opened the box, but I was glad to see there were no lice inside (in 2005 the Academy provided me with pacifiers full of dead nits). I immediately cut my hair, which was easy to comb and split. I wanted to hate it after practicing my coloring technique. I knew full well that the color and the shampoo would make me hate him. NOT RIGHT. It was easy to shampoo and condition. Just in case I did a complex ejection and it was just as easy. I used a leave-in conditioner, but even before applying it combed and detangled just as quickly. MINIMAL HAIR LOSS. I LOVE IT AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE A HAIRGINKO CUSTOMER! KEEP IT UP. MANY THANKS.
