I give 3 stars because it's henna and it does what henna is supposed to do. What didn't help me at all was adding a burgundy color. I followed the directions to the letter "T" and had auburn hair. From this point of view, this is normal; I use henna regularly and I like the result it gives. But since I bought the one that was supposed to add burgundy, I'm not very happy with this product. My hair is light brown with golden highlights from the sun. It may work better on dark hair. But based on my experience I cannot recommend this product.
