Vague, microscopic guide sheet needs improvement. A large, clear picture of the connections is required with 3 valves clearly numbered in order of use.1. How do I avoid adding more air to my cooling system because the clear coolant inlet pipe isn't full to begin with? See the tester's answer above in the questions section above.2. How do I know I'm done? When the vacuum returns to zero.3. What consumables or other tools do I need? A 5 gallon bucket with a little more antifreeze than your car needs to keep the suction hose from sucking air. I attached the filter hose to a stick to keep it submerged in the coolant at the bottom of the 5 gallon bucket. When you're done, you can simply pour the remaining coolant into the expansion tank. You will need a small bucket to catch any coolant splashes from the short, clear outlet hose. Aftermarket heads on my 520hp small block Chevy have cutouts that trap air, unlike stock heads. No other venting tricks have worked.
