That's a cat meow. I've installed countless "cheap" LCD wall mounts and none of them had self-leveling arms or a hinge. None were built quite like this, with cast aluminum arms and an aluminum wall mount. You'll probably want to loosen the balance spring with the included hex wrench before trying to figure out where to install it. It will outlive you if you install it and use it in this application. If there's a problem, the joints are bolted together, which isn't a problem unless they loosen over time. I didn't have that much time to determine what would happen. It has built-in cable management channels and a black cover that snaps onto the bottom of the mount. There are covers for the mount as well as open ends of the arm sections for a clean look while still covering the trailing heads. I am impressed. I've been in the IT industry for 20 years now and I've never seen such a well-made LCD manipulator. I installed it in my computer room at home to free me from decades of desk work and searching for comfy computer chairs. Computer chairs seem to be getting more expensive despite being made from inferior quality, cheaper materials, and even smaller sizes. My last straw was investing $300 in a chair, and obviously unhappy with it, I decided to go down that route. I also purchased an Ergotron keyboard tray and armrest. I have a Logitech G15 keyboard and it sits on top of the board but overlaps both sides by about 1-1/2 inches. Not enough to restrict mouse use on the scroll bar. I can't place it where it's comfortable yet. It doesn't lean forward. I have a feeling it will need to be sent to the local machine shop for some modifications. It tilts up for storage, but doesn't tilt down more than 90 degrees. lounger. If he only had 10-15 degrees of forward lean that would be perfect too. If his arm knuckles weren't riveted, this modification wouldn't be difficult. Since I suspect we'll end up drilling through the rivets, separate the hinge behind the keyboard and tap off enough material where it hits in the down position to make it drop a little more. This mod will definitely make the snuff Your guarantee, however, makes the keyboard tray much more comfortable for people playing with the chair. Overall, both Ergotron products are top notch and well worth the price. This is priceless for me, my back no longer hurts when I bend over a computer desk. Now I'm almost feeling a little guilty about the other people still playing at their tables and kicking myself in the butt for not doing it sooner. =) Update: After about a week of using the keyboard tray, there are self-adhesive glide strips under the mouse tray. One of the strips came loose and got stuck in the keyboard tray, restricting its movement. I was just able to remove this strip in the keyboard tray. I would have thought the $200 panties would be of better quality and more durable.
