This TV stand is a good 'mid-size' option for people who don't need a huge entertainment center but need more than a shelf or two for their televisions and multimedia equipment. I like this item, but there are a few things to note: - the materials are pretty cheap - the wood is "pressed", the cabinet doors are very light plastic, and the "walls" of the cabinet are flat. Wood - they're more like cardboard. I suspect that one of these materials can be easily damaged. The closet doors partially block the exit to the empty room. They block about 0.75 inches from the hole, but are entirely optional anyway. The "partition" of the closet (on the bottom shelf) appears to be load-bearing. The instructions don't say if this item is optional or not, so I think you can remove it at your own risk if you want a large bottom shelf. Also, the space between the shelves was *just* too small for my bookshelf speakers (11″). Nothing over 10.75 fits between the shelves. But that's about it. For the money you get more shelf space than other "nicer" ones. "Options. It was easy to set up and I personally like the open sides, although they expose the cables behind the TV.
