These belts do not stretch. I don't know if they should. They work pretty well, but I'm not sure I'm using them correctly. The instructions were different than what I've read online in several places about how to do this. They get big hair but don't seem to work well on fine hair, but I'm not a pro so I don't know if that's typical or not. I'll probably try something else to compare because, like I said, I'm not sure I'm using them correctly. But I will buy them again if I can't find anything better because they are of good quality and the price is good too.
