Review on ๐Ÿฆ Yobear Baby Play Mat: Self-Inflating Square Mat for Playard Playpen 40"x 40" - Extra Thick & Waterproof (Grey) by James Newbill

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This product would get five stars if they fixed just one thing.

This play cushion is perfect to place under a toddler, whether in a playpen or surrounded by a child's fence. It offers good padding to absorb some of the common bumps and falls in children's lives. The pillow is about 1 inch thick, so it's just enough to protect your baby, but not so much that it's difficult to walk or crawl. This guy has a self-inflating feature, which I think is the best thing about this pillow. You don't have to use a pump or worse, blow it up with the power of your lungs. Instead, open it up, wait a few minutes (they say three, I went five or six) and it will slowly expand and fill with air. Just close the double cap lid and you have a functional pillow. It works and it's beautiful. There is a small flaw in the design of this product. If you've ever dealt with something that's factory deflated, like an air mattress or one of those airbeds, you know that you'll never be able to make it as small as it was if you hand-deflate it as it was delivered. from the box. There's always some air left over that you can't just squeeze out. What is this about? Because when you put this item in the travel bag provided, you will realize that they have made a bag that fits snugly as it comes from the factory. After you've deflated the gasket and tried to put it back in place, you'll find that it doesn't fit. When I first tried it, I was trying really hard to get all the air out. I still found it very difficult to put the pad back in my pocket and in fact the stitching started to unravel after the first time. If only they would make it big enough that regular users of the product could easily use it to store a pillow, that would be perfect! So I recommend just throwing that cloth bag away and pretending it never existed, then you will be a happy user of this rug and so will your child.
