Please note this review is based on my buying this as a toy for a 7 year old. My daughter loves to sing and as a birthday present I wanted her a karaoke microphone. After researching the information on the internet, I found that the most popular options are separate karaoke machines. The reason I didn't want to do this is because it's for a kid and like all kids they can lose interest after a few days and end up with another huge box on my living room floor that I need dusting. I think this mic is perfect for learning if you or your child use karaoke often enough to buy an entire machine. Registration took 2 minutes. I just connected it to my phone via Bluetooth and then YouTube and searched for a karaoke song my daughter loves. Boom! In two minutes she was singing and enjoying herself. The quality is good for the price you pay. You can't expect it to compare to a regular mic that starts at $60.
