We used different brands of toothbrushes for our 2 year old. He is very rough with them and bites almost all the time while we are trying to clean them. That being said, we've had various toothbrushes that lasted several months, but they only lasted a few days before the bristles started to bend horribly and fall out. I chose to ignore other reviews that also stated this. The bristles aren't as soft as other brands either, and the head is larger than most (not a problem for our son, but something to be aware of).
