117117 miles on my buggy. It's time to change the timing belt. I had a Haynes manual for my car which made things a little easier. My dad and I just followed the steps in the book and everything went pretty smoothly. With the SOHC EJ25 this is easy as you only need to align 3 points on the belt. The water pump was easy to install. The new belt was quite difficult to tighten as everything was so tight even with the new tensioner set to its weakest position. After some elbow greasing we got it on all the pulleys and sprockets. Everything fitted perfectly and we put everything back together and the engine started with no problems. He even removed the check engine light I had. Didn't have time to get the code from the autozone but now it's gone. quality product
