Best budget amp yet.

So I got the Aiyima A08 amp/DAC combo after hearing great reviews and measurements on Aiyima's A07 amp and the main problem with this amp is that the power supply is external. and this a08 is basically an all in one version with a high quality built in power supply that is more powerful than what you usually find on ebay paired with an old a07. This added USB and Bluetooth connections and a built in DAC. The IC amplifier inside is TPA3255 Texas Instruments, which is also found in the A07 amplifier. I don't think it delivers the advertised 300 watts but compared to the A04 I had previously, also from aiyima but with an older chip, it honestly blows it away. I did an A/B comparison of A04 and A08 with both JBL Stage A130 and Emotiva B1+ and its night and day woofer control is amazing on 08 where I thought JBL was an overdone speaker, warm speaker , it turned out that A04 just didn't do it justice. It took JBL performance to new heights. I would say a 15% improvement just by replacing the amp. The highs are more defined, while the mids and lows are more cohesive and well-blended, without the bloat or blooming of before. I don't think you can find a $100 amp that competes with this. The 87 dB effective speakers are enough to rattle dishes in another room and I didn't dare turn up the volume. It doesn't heat up at all and there's no hum or static noise. Bluetooth is just a bonus and I haven't tested it. nothing but a nice long power cord. I also think it looks cool and industrial. It can be awkward fitting into a table like mine. Overall I think this will blow a lot of people's minds, I don't see any reviews. but compared to the emotional a-100 or a stereo receiver, to be honest, it doesn't even come close to being as good. Power and clarity are simply taken to the next level with this amp. can easily use it as a main home theater amplifier and performs much better than most sub-$1000 receivers, and it has Bluetooth and USB input. I don't see the remote but that would be the only added bonus. 5 out of 5!-bitloman
