Recently made recordings on compact flash memory cards again. I had two readers - one for CF only and one combined. When I first started recording high-speed, high-capacity SD cards, I used the Lexar Professional SD Reader. When I got a more modern CF card for my new camera, I noticed that large files loaded slowly. So I did a little research, based on my experience with Lexar, and settled on this one. I immediately noticed that it was a fleshy object. It's unrelated to function, but as other reviewers have pointed out, it stays in place during use. It downloads files to your computer MUCH faster than older readers. To date I haven't had any problems with file corruption. Overall, I am very satisfied with this reader and would recommend and buy it again at any time.
