Review on New Product Fusible INTERFACING Interfacing by Jessica Lewis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Doesn't look like a traditional woven fusible material, but comes in handy when you have it on hand.

I bought this product as a last minute replacement for the Pellon ShapeFlex (SF101) and I have to admit my expectations were low. But it's a good interface at a great price (at least at the time of my purchase) and I would buy it again. HOWEVER: It is in no way inferior to Pellon Shape-Flex Woven in terms of drape and weight. If you are looking for a light crunchy, medium density woven melt stick for SF101. As another reviewer mentioned, this product does have some stretch, although it appears it doesn't affect performance. In fact, in terms of performance, I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth my matching fabric looked and felt - no bubbles, creases, or lumps. This ensures a light, blister-free hold and is still comfortable.

Pros
  • *This is a very high quality material of medium density and hardness with no bubbles, wrinkles or lumps. PERFECT for t-shirt quilts. This ensures a light, blister-free hold and is still comfortable.
Cons
  • A few minor things
