what i was looking for

Wow, that thing is very cool. Easy to open and install. Easy to fold and pack. Honestly, I'm in love with this tent. Living in Hawaii, going to the beach comes naturally. I was looking for a small fold out beach tent to take with me to just relax with a cool box etc. That's it. It's good for the price. I didn't expect it to be made out of anything unusual. The fabric is like a camping tent, the mesh windows feel a little flimsy but will hold up. After Covid-19 and the closure (not being able to go to the beach and such) I couldn't take it out on the sand but have used it a few times in my garden and I already know it's what I wanted . The headroom is good enough for 2 people (3 people will be tight, but doable). Wind can easily penetrate through the small mesh windows, so it doesn't feel very hot. It blocks most of the sun, but the tent can get hot in direct sunlight (duh) and the sun can filter through the windows depending on the direction it rises/sets (again). The pegs provided are universal (haven't tried it on sand yet but I doubt they'll help on a windy day). What's really good for sand are the separate sandbags that come with it (4 pieces) and even sand pockets on the sides of the tent (3 in total on the sides and back). Fill those nipples and the tent is going nowhere. It is very easy to open the tent but not too rough as it is plastic. So as long as you don't hit them hard or pull them, it should last a little. Closing is easy too, but don't be rude. It is very easy to store and is lightweight so not bulky at all. Can't wait to try it on a real beach when all this Covid-19 bullshit is over.
