Item description should be clearer: When used on the iPad Pro, the audio bandwidth of 3.5mm headphones is reduced by at least 50% and the iPad volume control is disabled to start . It couldn't be more incompatible. To top it off, the 3.5mm jack is "awkward": while it seems to accept a headphone plug well, it sends a mute signal to the iPad if it detects the slightest movement.
