Review on VibraLITE Mini 12 Alarm Vibrating Watch: A Stylish Companion for Women's Watches! by Monica Watson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect no-frills multi-alarm clock!

We bought this watch so that my son could be reminded to go to the bathroom several times a day (as directed by the doctor) so I wouldn't have to remind him, especially when we were out of town for a few days and I won't be around to remind him while he was at Grandma's. This is awesome stuff! Easy to install if you do it once or twice. Easy enough for a 7 year old to switch the mode to the timer from time to time and just use the timer function so he can sit for his scheduled 10 minutes. It was very durable and I don't have to worry about it breaking when I'm in the park or playing rough. It looks like a regular watch so it doesn't get distracted by other kids' mindless games, cameras, etc., and it looks like an adult or other "big kid" so no one will know it's different, and nothing wrong with him, as with another. Why does he have alarms while playing? It is the perfect size for a small person/child or lady. This is not a big bulky fashion men's watch. Perfect for a 7 year old, or even if I (mum) wanted it. The strap could fit a much larger wrist, his wrist fits right when the velcro is "perfect" so it will probably grow an inch or two before we have to get another strap. We bought extra batteries. based on other reviews but after 4 full months I have not yet had to replace the originals. The tape seams were nice and tight and the velcro is good but fluffy as expected after 4 months of taking it off daily at night and a bit of play during the day, but seems strong enough to last. The Single Wish List Item ID is designed to ensure the lock feature only turns on alarms (so the alarms can't be changed), but the lock literally locks everything - it locks them in the current mode so you can't switch without rotating the one blocking, you can't use a timer while blocked, etc. So I'd like it to only block the ability to change the alarm, but blocking would probably be ideal if you didn't need to change the mode for either an adult or a small child , say 3-4, and you could just set an alarm and block it for a while. So it was like changing an ID and I was worried the alarms would be changed because he was "investigating" how it works, but it ended up being moot because he didn't change alarms, and overall it was no problem reject it special feature. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs multiple timers a day (for meds, schedule, potty training, etc) and just wants something simple - no games, no flashing dots, a few different bongs. Daytime (you can only turn on vibrate, alarm or both, but the alarm sound is the same for every alarm, which we like), no camera function etc., which all other children's watches we've tried before had. They were all returned because they didn't have multiple alarms (as they claimed), they were very distracting for the child (there was no way they could wear them all day without being distracted by something else) and were even more expensive , but more fragile or had large screens that would certainly harm the child. This has been our lifesaver for the past 4+ months! If it ever breaks completely we will replace it with this one, SO good and useful.
