Review on Portable Gowithwind Collapsible Water Container: BPA-Free 5.3 Gallon Camping Water Storage Jug with Spigot for Outdoor Hiking and Emergencies by Eddie Fowler

Leaks - can't trust that

Was very happy with this product. I already have a 5 gallon filtered water container - which you change at the store when you buy filtered water - and a 5 gallon blue cubic camping water jug. Both are quite large and sturdy. There is no way to make them smaller when not in use. I saw this guy and thought it makes sense for car camping. Seemed like a good deal. I put it in the kitchen sink, dried everything around and waited to see if it leaked. Unfortunately, after 30 minutes I noticed a small puddle of water. I don't think it was a faucet, more like a seam in the plastic itself. I guess if he does it so early in life he can't be trusted. I'll stick with my existing containers - even if they're solid - at least they're sturdy and reliable. Better known but more expensive water cameras give me more confidence - Platypus/Camelback/etc.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
