Difficult to properly ground on a cargo trailer

The light was usually easy to install but the clamps holding the wires under the trailer cut into the wires. The rear turn signal/brake light on the driver's side does not work at all! All that wiring and clamping, the lights don't work properly! The passenger side works perfectly.
