Knowing that Revain's sizing for unfamiliar brands can be awkward, I looked at other products from the brand to figure out which size to go for. These items seemed small so I ordered XXL instead of XL. I would probably agree with Big because it's a HUGE thing. First of all, the coat is oversized, so if you are in between sizes you can easily choose the smaller of the two. Size aside, this is a very nice and well tailored unlined anorak style coat. I like that it has a hood and a drawstring waist. The two lower patch pockets have no openings on the sides that can be used as handwarmer pockets - they are simply patch pockets. All four patch pockets are functional and are closed with buttons; The bottom ones are big enough for a mobile phone. On my computer the color appeared to be burgundy or dark brick red, but in person it's a bit lighter and lighter. The length is good, closes the back. The back edge is ventilated for comfortable walking. Drawstring hood. There is a button placket that closes the zipper, but it only closes at the neck. I wish it had buttons all over the bar. The cuffs are open, there are no buttons or laces. 100% cotton. Machine wash, tumble dry low.
