I know it's not covered under warranty, but it's supposed to be a "professional" mic stand, so you might be thinking the clutch isn't minimal wears out use for the period i had it. The clutch was worn out and on February 25, 2018 I contacted service to see if I could replace or repair the clutch. I did NOT ask them to do it under warranty, I asked for information if it could be repaired and what the cost would be. If it's repairable at a reasonable price I'd rather fix or replace the clutch than buy a new mic stand! I've been talking to the company for a few weeks now and after much discussion they decided to just tell me to contact their parts department and say their parts department would help me. They gave me a phone number to call. Nobody ever answers this phone number and their voicemail is full and not accepting new messages. I contacted a customer service representative to let him know about this and he said he was also "doing his part" by trying to contact the parts department. Every few days I get an email from Pyle asking if I replied to the last message from customer service, which I did. I am very upset and upset. I have since bought a new mic stand from another company. but I would still like to know if it can be repaired or replaced or if I should just throw it away. I hate filling up the landfill with things that can be fixed!
