YET this was an easy swap on my DCP-2550DW and the first few pages print the same as the last few pages of the old branded drum. Hope this holds up, but I didn't really have any feedback to leave. I pulled out the drum while the machine was on and it immediately went back to printing. There is no need to reset the drum counter and no more toner alarms will be triggered. Let's see what kind of life I get out of this and I doubt I'll think about updating this unless something goes catastrophically wrong.
