When I opened the installation package I did not find the clear plastic strip that normally needs to be pulled from the cartridge. While looking for this strip, I accidentally opened the end cap and almost spilled some toner dust. Luckily, I was able to install it with no spills (just a tiny bit on me) or other mishaps. The quality is in no way inferior to the original and the price is excellent. Otherwise there are no complaints.

I have given this item four stars as it offers exceptional value compared to buying a branded replacement toner cartridge. I had broken strips when printing, so I'm deducting a star. It would probably be more annoying if I used this printer for business. However, this is primarily intended for home use, with very limited business use, so a few imperfect prints won't rock my world. Overall it's an amazing price for what it is and it works pretty well.

I didn't know what to expect as there were many standard toner replacement parts. I took a chance as it offered a great price for 2 packs. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of installation, clear instructions, and lack of compatibility issues. Good print quality. The black doesn't appear as black/dark as the original, but the difference is very slight. All in all I would buy this again.

I've read that printers don't recognize these toners after a software update and I just updated my printer before I was looking for a new toner. I crossed my fingers when I installed this and it worked without any issues. OEM level print quality I've had. It's good that I didn't have to overpay for the factory.

I bought these cartridges because they were significantly cheaper than original Brother replacement toner cartridges. The print quality is not as sharp as the original Brother cartridge. More importantly, toner doesn't stick well to paper: after the page is printed, you can smudge the ink with your finger. If you're printing thousands of brochures to hang on telephone poles, this will work. For something more professional look elsewhere.

YET this was an easy swap on my DCP-2550DW and the first few pages print the same as the last few pages of the old branded drum. Hope this holds up, but I didn't really have any feedback to leave. I pulled out the drum while the machine was on and it immediately went back to printing. There is no need to reset the drum counter and no more toner alarms will be triggered. Let's see what kind of life I get out of this and I doubt I'll think about updating this unless something goes…
