I bought a new socket with multiple USB ports. I ran a 10ft USB cable under the sofa to my coffee table so I can access my phone while charging. It took 2 hours to fill 50% of a 1 year old Samsung A51. So I bought one of those "fast charge cables" and used it the same way. If it saves 20 minutes on a 50% full phone (that isn't heavily used while charging) I'd be surprised. I have no doubts about the quality of the cable; This is just a warning to others that best results are achieved by plugging the fast charger directly into a wall outlet and then plugging in the fast charge cable. It was a ten dollar game and I didn't get forward.
