I had a round plastic bucket for many years but I got tired of turning it over and throwing the contents out a few times a month. I thought it would be a brilliant solution but I ended up sending it back. The positives are that it certainly won't tip over and will hold up a lot. Negative moments - 1) It develops on its own. One person described how they made a staple out of popsicle sticks and duct tape to hold the pages open. I do not want to do that. 2) The lid, which I didn't pay attention to, is unusable. 3) There is velcro on the underside that won't stick to the car carpet at all, but that doesn't matter as the weighted pocket will still hold it firmly in place.
