I might go (at least) one size down.The material is a nice form fitting stretch material that fits well but is very stretchy.The belt is open, I fastened it in 3 places to make sure it doesn't go past the waist. Possible downside: Legs are long. I have long legs to be short and wore 4" heels with my pants still touching the floor. An alteration may be needed if you're smaller, and if you're taller are, this item is definitely suitable for tall girls.
