This particular color is a little lighter and more vibrant than in the picture , which is very reminiscent of the color of the 40s. The color is much nicer than in the photo, everything ok. I took a king size so it touches the floor and covers the bed pillows. I have a traditional 18th century mahogany canopy bed with a beautiful headboard. I wanted to go back to not pretending to only make the bed pillows when I made the bed. Now I can see the head of the bed. These bedspreads don't lose thread, very well made, the fabric is so soft. Can't believe the price is so reasonable. I also ordered blue and ivory wedding bands. All of this is great. I'm so glad I tried them.
