Bought this to hard wire my PS4 to my router. I wasn't happy with the speed of my WiFi and I was fed up with lag when playing online games. I ran Cat 6 along my wall just above the bottom ledge and nailed it pretty well. My connection has become much stronger and no longer slows down. If you're like me paying for 200Mbps and gaming or even streaming music to your receiver, invest in a cable. Now I get speeds from 150 Mbps (download) to 250 Mbps (download) and 5 Mbps (download) to 15 Mbps (download). Obviously you may not get the same numbers as me, but from 50Mbps download and 2Mbps upload to what I have now. I'm glad I spent the money and time. It is 10/13/2020, so 2 years later. I'm still impressed with my speed and haven't had any latency or streaming issues so far. Money well spent and I advise everyone to get this cable now.
