I currently own three MSI laptops, the first two of which faithfully served me for five and six years. I sincerely hope that this one will hold up in a similar manner. The laptop's strong construction and inside components are pleasing as usual. BUT. The reason why everything with cooling is so awful is unclear, but the issue is cooling the video card, which on a summer day at maximum load maintains an average temperature of 85 degrees Fahrenheit (I saw the number 90 once), with very high revs through the graph. The turntables always start spinning at an insanely fast rate when the separate Cooler boost button is pressed, making it impossible to set it up according to the schedule. With this kind of noise, it is also impossible to sit for longer than two minutes wearing headphones without going crazy. The left hand will be warm if it is merely set down and not printed because of the way the air is blowing—backwards and sides. In truth, the laptop has a fantastic price-performance ratio, but the cooling is awful.
