I have contacted the company regarding a power adapter and you need a special one, 5V/2.4A or better. They cost around $10-$20 which you have to buy extra as the fan doesn't run at less power at high settings. He can't cool the room. This probably works best right next to you on your desk. So use it for this purpose. Even if you already have an adapter or are ready to buy one. It just turned out to be a bigger hassle than expected for the money it's worth compared to other less than $$ personal sized fans. I gave 3 stars because technically it works and the company answered my questions on time.
