First I want to say this is a great backpack/purse!" Beautifully made and stylish. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars as other reviewers have mentioned is the zipper on the valve is not easy to open. I contacted the seller who quickly answered this problem and offered to run a candle or soap over my teeth to lubricate. I chose a black candle (I ordered it in black ), and no white soap. It worked very well. I found holding the item by the loop at the top helps it work better. The price for this genuine leather couldn't be better; I had no issues with "odor". "As the reviewer said. Leather item, the alligator leather on the valve is nice too. Large size (not too small and not too big). I don't usually carry my iPad nic ht around with me but when I do it fits here perfectly with extra room for a spare water bottle Well sized internal pockets and a back pocket g Easy wallet access is handy. I love this backpack and have had many compliments on it. I would buy again in a different color.
