Background: My previous mouse was a G502 which I have had for over 4 years and use all the time. This mouse still works great and my wife uses it now. The only reason I switched was because I was looking for a lighter mouse that would also hopefully fit my hand size better. I decided to go all out and bought a G Pro Wireless. I liked it for the first few weeks until one day I noticed that I couldn't reliably drag windows across the screen. Later that day, I was playing Overwatch and encountered many problems trying to get my gun to fire. If I held down the left mouse button, my gun would fire and stop firing from time to time. Sometimes the click and hold didn't even register in-game for a second or so. I knew people were having trouble with double-clicking, so I decided to do some testing. The double click was awful and could actually register up to 10+ clicks if I released the mouse button slowly. I decided to replace the mouse and give it another chance. After daily testing, after about a week and a half of use, I started seeing a double click. I've tried all the suggestions on the internet to solve this problem but it still persists. As much as I love the weight, feel, and tracking of this mouse, I can't even remotely recommend it. This double-click bug, which seems to constantly plague many GPW owners, shouldn't be present in a $150 product aimed at professional and competitive players. I tried my best to double click on my G502 but it didn't work. Why does a 4 year old mouse still last and perform better than a brand new product that costs 2.5x its price? If Logitech could fix the double-click problem that plagues this mouse, I'd have no hesitation in recommending it; but now I would look elsewhere. Only buy this mouse if you have a spare mouse and are willing to go through the return process on a regular basis.
