Review on Beck Arnley 154 0161 BECKARNLEY Throttle by David Garnic

No problem after 3 months and 3000 miles. This throttle body was almost identical to the original I replaced. I was plagued by the EPC light causing my car to go into "idle mode", a condition that prevented my engine from revving above 2500 rpm. The likely culprit was an electronic sensor attached to the mechanical part of this item, requiring both parts to be swapped out upon attachment. The replacement effort was limited to removing 4 screws, but access was very difficult for us. It took me hours and hours and lots of bruising on my forearms to finally get the job done. I can talk about my skills as a mechanic. Overall, the AL is a great product at a fraction of the OEM price. I can't help but think that VW dealerships are filled with a bunch of crooks!
