I think the picture quality of this monitor is great. However, if you are using a dedicated stand that allows you to install 2 or more monitors, then look elsewhere. Dell designed this monitor with a different back than most other monitors (VESA). Because of this, you cannot connect this monitor to one of these stands. Instead, you'll be stuck with the stand that comes with the kit. I bought this monitor for my wife as a birthday present. Since I bought it a month ahead of schedule, I couldn't return it after we found out about the problem with the stand. Now we're stuck with a monitor that doesn't attach to their monitor stand (until I find someone willing to buy one).
